Two Days: 9:00–17:00

Making the Milking Stool

Across two full days, you’ll shape the seat and legs with traditional hand tools, learning how to use a spokeshave and drawknife with confidence. You’ll assemble your stool, refine every surface, and finish it naturally so it becomes a piece you’ll treasure for years. No previous woodworking experience is needed. Just curiosity and a willingness to get hands-on.

What You’ll Learn

• How to safely use hand tools
• Precision marking, shaping and fitting techniques
• How to achieve a refined, professional-quality finish
