Full-time programme

The full-time programme, which normally starts each September, January and April, will take students from basic tool skill understanding to designing and making their own furniture. Each practical project is increasingly demanding, thereby developing the skills, understanding and confidence of the student so that they can tackle ever more complicated pieces.

Practical projects

Each project has been designed to progressively enhance skills and confidence. Once the basics of furniture making have been learnt, the design and making of your own furniture is encouraged. Students work towards producing five pieces of furniture for exhibition, primarily using hand techniques.
